A Note on COVID-19 | Ethical Influencers

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all keeping well during this strange time. I thought it would be worth updating you as to the measures we’re taking at Ethical Influencers in response to COVID-19 and the information shared by government and medical professionals.

As of the start of this week, all events are postponed, including any that were in the pipeline for later this year. Rescheduling will happen when we know it is safe to do so.

The E.I. team already work remotely and will continue to do so in a capacity that allows for social distancing and self-isolation if/when needed.

I think the main focus right now is to look after your local community. I’ve personally seen a drop in readership on my blog, and I think people’s habits and mindsets are changing to adapt to proper health and safety measures. That said, sharing key information (from reputable sources such as the WHO, NHS, or your country’s officials) is a good thing to do, as is showing solidarity with local people and businesses.

If you’re based in the UK and would like to help out further, look up your local COVID-19 Mutual Aid group.

And if you’re experiencing any form of stress, anxiety, or fall in your mental wellbeing, this post on managing coronavirus anxiety from our partner, Calmer, is a great read.

Take care of yourselves, of others, and of the planet!
