Name: Meüne
About: We created this project to take a stand and be a part of the fashion transformation.
Meüne brings sustainably and ethically made denim clothes that are inspired by and partly handcrafted by the indigenous communities in the Andes. But we have far bigger ambitions than that. Meüne is also an environmental and social activism project that runs fashion awareness campaigns and social projects in Latin America.
We do fashion differently. Unlike many brands, Meüne’s goal is not purely selling clothes. Our core purpose is to encourage everyone to take a step further and become a more sustainable, ethical, and conscious person. This means actively participating in the fashion transformation and leading by example. Simply put: if we can do it, you can do it too. Producing our own clothes most ethically and sustainably as we can is only a first step for us.
We are not stopping until this is the only possible way to make fashion.
The Influencer Campaign
Campaign: Slow Fashion Project Meüne Crowdfunding Campaign
Brief: Meüne is a project that will exist if people find it worth it. This is why we have launched our first creation: The Magda Jacket in a Crowdfunding Campaign on Kickstarter – a crowdfunding platform for creators to share their projects, offering tangible rewards or experiences in exchange for their pledges – to raise the necessary fundings to be able to kick-off the project. We are proposing different rewards sizes according to people’s donations.

Option 2: Scalability and Growth In Sustainable Businesses: A 90 min small and personalized Workshop (max 13 people per session) where we explore, in-depth, how the ideas of scalability and growth work within the sustainable fashion framework and our planetary limits. This workshop will be hosted by Nahir Sarsur, sustainable fashion expert and activist, founder of Meüne; and Tena Lavrencic, anthropologist, activist and ethical fashion writer.
