About: Shop and Donate is a social supermarket fighting food waste and food poverty, where the customer’s contribution goes towards supporting food banks, low-income families, Covid-19 affected, and home-bound people. The main focus of Shop And Donate has been helping the wider community and areas of the UK through Covid-19. Danny Barnes was forward-thinking about the impacts of this pandemic and strived to build an innovative, economically and environmentally sustainable community-based service to help those in need, regardless of background. This is done, via food packages, telephone befriending and hot meal deliveries. So far we have received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback on our services which has urged us to continue our work and aspire to be the No. 1 Community Shop.
Our main focus is to fight food waste, food poverty, and food insecurity in our UK communities. We want to make food accessible for everyone and reduce as much food waste as possible. Working directly with residents and food banks in Westminster, across London and the UK allows us to feed the most vulnerable and at risk of the effects of economic inflation.
The Influencer Campaign
Campaign: Healthy Eating: Vegan Recipe Book
Brief: On the 14th of April Shop and Donate will be in Waterstones Victoria between 12-2 pm showcasing our new Healthy Eating Book. Our main focus is to help individuals lead healthier by inspiring them to cook more with plant-based ingredients.
From this event, we would like to generate more reviews, encourage people to attend our social supermarket, and gain more followers. The main focus of our campaign is to fight food waste, food poverty, and food insecurity in our UK communities. We want to make food accessible for everyone and reduce as much food waste as possible. Working directly with residents and food banks in Westminster, across London and the UK allows us to feed the most vulnerable and at risk of the effects of economic inflation. At the event, we will talk about our history, our community cafe and future plans.
