About: Slow Fashion Movement is building a global community of Slow Fashion campaigners to transform the fashion industry. We unite people globally and locally to take collective action and inspire changes that end fast fashion as soon as possible. Our demands are to: slow down, make better and be fair.
With 50+ global volunteers, 120 ambassadors and 18 local groups, we hope to create a social tipping point where slow fashion becomes the norm.

The Influencer Campaign
Campaign: Slow Fashion Season 2021 #FashionDetox
Brief: Slow Fashion Movement is looking for ethical influencers that want to spread the message of our flagship campaign: Slow Fashion Season 2021.
We probably don’t have to tell you this, but (fast) fashion is one of the most polluting industries in the world: it represents 8% of global greenhouse emissions and is the second largest polluter of clean water. It also uses massive amounts of clean water: a single t-shirt takes 2,700 litres of water to make. And we’re only just getting started: consumption is expected to increase from 62 to 102 million tons in 2030. It is time to turn this around. Join us and take a stand against fast fashion with Slow Fashion Season!
After an amazing Slow Fashion Season last year where more than 10,000+ people committed to not buying new clothes for 3 months, we’re back to do it bigger and better this year: 20,000 people. 3 months. #FashionDetox. If 20,000 people commit, we can save the equivalent of up to 750 million litres of water and 2.5 million kilograms of CO2 emissions.
