About: ‘Take the Jump’ is a grassroots movement of citizens and communities coming together to lead the way to ‘less stuff and more joy’!

By ‘taking the jump’ and trying the six shifts that science says we all need to in the next ten years to avoid ecological breakdown. They cover things like travel, clothing, food and how we engage with the systems around us. By doing this we’re helping deliver nearly ⅓ of the change needed to protect our earth.

The good news is that less ‘consuming’ means more ‘creativity, connection, care, craft, comedy, community, compassion, camaraderie and collaboration’. This is a jump for joy!

The movement is about starting where we are, supporting instead of shaming each other, and having a great time while we go! We offer the tools and support to help people along the way.

Campaign: Take the Jump

Brief: This is a campaign like no other! We’re inviting content creators to show everyday people the real power they have to protect our beautiful planet, and have a joyous time while they do it. This will help build a global movement.*

How? By signing up and ‘taking the jump’ yourself for a month and telling your story! You’ll be inspiring others to do the same. You’ll be able to engage with a wide range of local ‘take the jump’ community groups around the country who’re finding exciting ways of living sustainably, so you won’t be alone.

By taking the jump we’re doing much more than just changing personal behaviour (though that too which has a big impact!), we’re starting to change mindsets and cultures in our communities and beyond. Research shows this is what’s needed to help drive changes in our politics, economics and wider systems. In short, taking the jump will help change the world! 

We’re not trying to sell anything, and by being involved in this campaign you’ll be helping avoid ecological breakdown, giving your followers an exciting and empowering way to engage and meet others.
