About: We are THE ONLY ethical and sustainable underwear and loungewear brand that uses ayurvastra dyes on organic cotton.
What is AY-UR-VAST-TRA?
Ayurvastra colours are dyes that are made with holistic herbs such as neem, sappan bark, aloe vera, pomegranate and indigo flowers that have been scientifically proven to minimize skin disorders, boost immunity, enhance radiance, alleviate rashes and eczema. It is also beneficial for women’s intimate health too.
Why are we ethical?
We work with a mix of suppliers. Starting our supply chain is our organic cotton farmers which use rain-fed organic cotton to grow our crops. We then send the ultra stretchy knitted organic cotton to our artisan village ‘The Handloomers Development Society’ which uses local and seasonal plants to ayurvastra dye the fabrics. These artisans have been practicing this tradition for over 1000 years and unfortunately they don’t get enough love so with our help we improve their livelihoods. We then work with our eco-factory who uses renewable energy, empowerment teams, fair pay, decent workplaces and training programmes to cut and sew our products kindly.
We also upcycle old saris to make them into our accessory robes to be worn over underwear. We do this with our women’s empowerment centre that work with vulnerable women in India to provide them a safe place and skills to make a living!
Why are we sustainable?
– We are 100% vegan certified and we only use plant-based ingredients that has been locally/seasonably sourced near our factories/centres.
– We have ZERO chemicals in our products.
– We use renewable energy.
– We ship the majority of our products from India.
– We work with a reforestation charity & an animal shelter in India.

We have only just launched although we have been living for 1.5+ years in India (in the field) working directly with suppliers.
WE NEED YOU!
As a small start-up that is one-of-a-kind (no other ayurvastra underwear/loungewear brands), we want to get the word out about our ayurvastra underwear and loungewear.
We want influencers to wear the product with different outfits, different scenes and show that ALL women can be happy, healthy and kind in these wellness boosting intimates.
This is our FIRST campaign so please consider that as we grow you will have more opportunities with us such as further campaigns, photoshoots, trips with us to India. So we are looking for influencers who are not only interested in the products but the cause and changing the fashion industry forever.
