Name: World Values Day
About us: World Values Day is an annual campaign to increase the awareness and practice of values around the world. Values are increasingly the focus of public debate and discussion, but their role in our lives and their importance is not always fully understood. That is why we take time each year to get people talking, sharing and acting on their values to help build a better future together.
2020 has been an incredibly challenging year for so many of us, and with everything going on it’s more important than ever to live our values and build a better world for everyone. It may seem obvious, but knowing what we value can help people make difficult decisions in challenging times.
If you’re interested, we’d love for you to get involved in #WorldValuesDay on 15th October to share the values that keep you fighting for the things you care about. We’ve put together a social media toolkit to give you everything you need to make #WorldValuesDay your own.

Sadly we don’t have any budget to pay individually for promotions as World Values Day is a non-profit campaign and runs on very limited funds. We completely understand if this is a deal-breaker, but if you are still interested in being involved then we would welcome you to, and be extremely grateful for your help raising awareness of the importance of living in alignment with our values during these strange times.

Brief: We’d love for you to get involved by sharing a social media post at 9:30 am in your local time zone on 15th October 2020 using the #WorldValuesDay hashtag!
Here are the three simple steps we would like you to take:
- Choose a Value: Select a value that is most important to you, one that motivates and guides you through life.
- Act on that Value: Do something simple and practical to put that value into action and make a difference in the world.
- Share on social media at 9:30 am, 15th October using the #WorldValuesDay hashtag! Share what you have done (or plan to do) to put your value into action on social media. We truly believe that one small action at a time can help change the world!
We ask you to post with the #WorldValuesDay hashtag at 9:30 am local time to give us the best chance of trending online! This will help us to get the message out as far and wide as possible.
