About The Brand
Name: AKOJO MARKET
About us: AKOJO MARKET is a new ecommerce platform championing independent designers from across Africa. We sell handmade products from 30 designers/brands sourcing and manufacturing in over 15 African countries. All our brands have been vetted against strict due diligence criteria. We ensure there are no human rights abuses in the supply chain, such as child labour or unfair pay, and importantly we verify that our brands are innovative and considerate towards the environment. Most use upcycled materials, recycled packaging and low impact dyes, and all are strictly against cruelty to animals.
Products range from accessories such as bags, jewellery, headscarves, to homeware including kitchen utensils, napkins, cushions and throws. We also sell a wide variety of organic, natural ingredient beauty, bath and body products as well as kids wear. We recently received the Eco-Age brandmark initiative and are widely featured in the press for our sustainability credentials.
