COCONUT MATTER is an ethically made beauty social and eco enterprise on a mission to reduce the plastic waste in our bathroom. Only 1 in 5 people recycle toiletries. We’re determined to make things easier!
The beauty sector generated over 142 billion units of packaging in 2018 – most of which ended up in landfill or the ocean. Facts are that only 50% of bathrooms products’ waste is recycled, simply because we don’t tend to have a recycling bin in our WC’s. Are major corporations doing enough to kick the habit? Definitely not. WE ARE.
Our first target: Deodorants. It matters to your pretty armpits and overall health.
Coconut Matter natural deodorants are vegan, cruelty-free using 18 plant-based ingredients. Toxin-free, no aluminium, no baking soda, no paragons, no phthalates.
The packaging is zero waste as it’s 100% biodegradable. It comes in a paper stick, it’s light (perfect for your handbag or travelling or display in your bathroom). Brief: There seems to be a general lack of data when it comes to deodorants waste we generate every year. We know that most ethical bloggers would have long time switched to a more eco-friendly choice for their armpits, but we’d love to get feedback on how much waste each of us could save only with deodorants and how the overall average would look like if we manage to put the numbers together.
And then, hopefully, you will love our deodorants and review how much you like the smell, the feel, how effective it is on you to control body odour, maybe which one is your favourite in the MOOD natural deodorant range.
