About us: Alkimee is a luxury brand and social venture that specializes in producing ethical jewelry-inspired audio, apparel, accessories, and fine jewelry. As a social venture, up to 50% of net profit made on the sales of our luxury goods supports necessity and sustainability causes through our Giving Fund.
We are providing bloggers with the opportunity to choose the causes that they wish to support by purchasing and promoting Alkimee jewelry to their audiences.
The specific causes we focus on are food, healthcare, housing, education, employment, business funding (self-employment), clothing, technology, transportation, sustainability and ethical sourcing in supply chains. An example of a nonprofit that ethical bloggers may wish to support is the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM), which helps artisanal and small-scale miners adopt safe mining practices, formalize into legal worker cooperatives, and reinvest profits into community development initiatives through their Fairmined certification program.
As a Fairmined licensee, Alkimee is one of a few companies in the world who are able to produce and sell jewelry products made with fairmined metals. Alternatively, our first fine jewelry collection – inspired by the ouroboros snake symbol in alchemy – will be launching later this month and we will be donating a portion of the profits to protecting the Amazon through Rainforest Trust, which purchases and protects threatened rainforests and save endangered wildlife through community engagement and local partnerships.
