About us: Codecheck helps consumers fully understand what ingredients and chemicals that are present in their products.
It works by scanning the barcode on any cosmetics, vitamins, food or cleaning products. Users can then immediately see if the product has any hazardous substances, such as palm oil, animal by-products, hormonal chemicals, and micro plastic particles.
It can also be personalised – for example, you can get it to indicate whether a product contains gluten, lactose or whether it is suitable for vegans.
With the help of Head Scientist, Dr Ruta Almedon, Codecheck hopes to help encourage people to start making better choices when it comes to their purchasing habits.
