About us: Natural Colour Works is a natural hair salon in London’s Soho and one of the only salons in London that is totally fume-free. Colour treatments are provided by a unique and effective plant process with zero ammonia and zero peroxide:
Water Colour – a unique zero peroxide and zero ammonia process that gently oxygenates the colour pigment providing permanent natural grey coverage. Available for our clients to buy for home use. H20 Won’t dry your hair our at all and can be used over Henna and bleach because the’s no alkaliser.
Seaweed Lightener – an odourless treatment which achieves the same level of lightening as traditional bleach only more gently. Seaweed contains pure avocado oil, which when mixed with other ingredients enables stylists to apply the colour closer to the root when applying foil highlights
Natural Smoothing – chemically gentle hair smoothing treatment that reduces frizz, adds shine and protects the hair for up to two months.Enriched with grape seed, colza oil and brassica rapeseed, Natural Smoothing Works loosens the hair structure and the cuticle layer remains closed throughout the treatment – rather than chemically changing it by permanently altering the bonds of the hair by opening the cuticle.
The sensitive process takes longer but is kinder and maintains the condition, shine and body of the hair. The ingredients include an amino acid which enables the gentle process and results in a smoother looking finish. It’s also great for managing tricky areas such as a frisky fringe or side-kicks that are too energetic
The salon team are campaigning on Clean Air Day on Thursday 20 June for other salons to make urgent changes to their salon environments.
