Name: Ocean Plastic Pots
About us: We are a start up company called ‘Ocean Plastic Pots’, founded by a Deep Sea Diver with 1st hand experience of the impact of Ocean Waste Plastic on our environment.
We manufacture Plant Pots from 100% recycled, Ocean Based Plastic, We use end of life and recovered Rope and Fishing Net to make our pots.
Rope and Net debris in the sea presents a major hazard to marine life, including entanglement and ingestion, which can be fatal. Without a recycling infrastructure in place, these items have a high risk of ending up in the environment, as confirmed by the UN and the European Commission in several reports.
To make our Plant Pots we work with recyclers of post use and recovered ropes and net. Then we add Ocean Waste Plastic we have recovered ourselves from beaches in Scotland.
Using recycled material produces 5.2 times less CO2 than virgin plastic.
Every day, 8 million pieces of plastic find there way into our Seas. Preventative Action Recovery and Education are the best methods to reduce this.

Opportunity: Ocean Plastic Pots
Brief: We are looking for influencers who have an interest in the sea and the environment and who want to work with an up and coming brand.
We’d like to form a long term partnership with individuals who believe in what we are doing as a company and are looking to promote us to there followers whilst raising awareness of Ocean Plastic and its impact on the environment. We want to build up a genuine following of involved supporters of our brand.
You would post two pictures of our product on your feed, in your environment and style. basically a very natural post.
You’d ideally have an interest in either one of these fields / SUP / Surfing / Diving / Wild Swimming / Sailing / Kayaking.
And also an interest in interiors, gardening and house plants would also be ideal.
