About The Brand
Name: Origin
About us: We are the UK’s first 100% not-for-profit fashion brand.
We believe that consumers have the power to change things, to make decisions on their spending which could impact this world for the better.
2019 has taught us that habits need to change. Business as usual isn’t good enough anymore. Our love of fast fashion, our plastic consumption, our disregard for the planet and the people living in it… all this needs to stop. We seek a better way.
But what if we told you there’s a new breed of business, organisations who do more?Where you can buy your Christmas presents and discover that not only are they sustainable and planet friendly, but they use the profits to change lives.
The Social Opportunity
Opportunity: An EXTRAORDINARY Christmas
Brief: We would like to challenge the world of Ethical Influencers to track their impact this Christmas. With a £100 spending budget we want to see how many incredible brands you can uncover whose products give back – whether a social enterprise, a not-for-profit or a traditional charity.
The only rule is you must buy only physical products (not gift the money to an organisation). You’ll also need to keep a record of what impact the money has made, sharing this journey on your social channels in stories and posts (not forgetting to use our hashtag…see below)
We would like to invite you to have an extraordinary Christmas this year (because, after all, ⌗OrdinaryWontChangeTheWorld)
