About us: Award-winning Flat Earth Pizzas offers meat-free that are kind to the planet.
The dough is our masterpiece: using 100% English organic heritage grain flour which is packed with fibre, aiding better digestion.’Heritage grains’ haven’t been refined or contaminated with pesticides. Veg comes from Pale Green Dot who supports low impact, agro-ecological farming. It’s all fresh, natural flavours- no processed food.
We regularly change our menu keeping in line the seasons, sourcing as locally as possible and reducing our carbon footprint by omitting air miles from importation. With the changing menus comes experimentation with unique and interesting combinations such as house kimchi and The ‘Arty Vegan melty mozza as well as the signature Hackney Hot with sweet pickled beets, sliced chillis, fermented chilli salsa, vegan cheese and organic tomato passatal – all a far cry from the ubiquitous toppings you’ll find in most pizzerias.
We are zero to landfill.We ferment and pickle lots of veg to preserve it for longer (as well as creating interesting flavours and enhancing gut health). Any minima, unavoidable food waste that we do have gets turned into food waste into fertiliser for use on local farms.
We never wanted to build something that would create more harm than good so decided to create a meat-free pizza brand that enabled people to choose more veg-first meals throughout their normal week without feeling like they are missing out on any of the flavour, nutrition or satisfaction that they normally associate with animal based dishes.
