That sums up my company Blue Goose Coffee in a nutshell and why we have won so many UK and international Awards as well as capturing the attention of retailers including Selfridges.
Our multi-award-winning speciality coffees in compostable Nespresso® pods help you create wonderful barista-quality coffees without the guilt and prove just how good pod coffee should taste.
We don’t dark roast commodity grade coffee. We source and roast speciality grade coffees that taste incredible and bring out the unique terroir in which they’ve grown and reflect the unique organic farming practices used…no fertilizer-drenched, strip-grown coffee here, nor oil and mining-reliant aluminium or plastic pods!
We also pay the price our smallholder farming cooperatives and growers dictate well beyond the Fairtrade Minimum Price, which protects the bottom end of the coffee commodity market.
Proof we’re doing something right is our Which? Magazine Best Buy, Great Taste Award, Soil Association and Global Coffee Innovation Awards.

Brief: World-first Compostable Coffee Pod Advent Calendar for Nespresso
Our Compostable Coffee Pod Advent Calendar embodies the approach above, in particular the 3 world-first pod coffees within.
It is the perfect gift that brings festive joy in the run-up to Christmas without compromising the growers and the biodiversity in the fields and forests in which our coffees are grown.
Each coffee has its own compelling environmental and people story, for example, alongside our best-selling organic pod coffees you’ll enjoy the world’s first Sail Ship Coffee in a pod and the world’s first Bird-Friendly® Coffee Pod for Nespresso® machines. Also included is the world’s first Ethiopian Forrest Coffee, grown organically under the canopy of primary forests.
So if you love your coffee and have an original Nespresso machine (not Vertuo) then let’s work together!

You know your audience best of course so I’m open to ideas but here are some key content I’d love to work with you on:
> An ‘unboxing’, capturing your first impressions on the advent, the coffees and our ethical and sustainable approach.
> Ideally If you’d like to try some of the coffees before December and capture that on video /via social channel content then that would also be fab.
> Any content during December would be fab, especially between the 1st-8th December as you will be brewing each of the 8 coffees within the advent (there are 3x pods of each coffee during the 24 day period).
Channels/medium: We’d love you to create content across platforms and mediums, whether that’s Youtube, TikTok, Insta and/or blogs.
Timings: Ideally as soon as possible and definitely before the 28th November just to help us maximise awareness before 1st December.

We haven’t taken any shortcuts with the packaging either, as our calendar contains no plastic or glue, is made using board from sustainably managed forests and printed using water-based inks so is fully kerbside recyclable and/or home compostable.
